There's not a lot to recommend this doll - she looked so much better in the package. For one thing, her skirt's ruffles do not go all the way to the back. So she has a plain blue skirt in the back and it looks cheap. The full version of the song, once you take the tag out the back, is really, really, irritating. It's in a very high sing song voice that sounds like something from a 1980s Japanese anime aimed for 4 year olds. Since she lights up, you can't remove the top or really redress her in much. Though that terrible skirt has to go.

None of the dolls in this series come with stands, so they can't really stand up and pose with the microphone on their own.

In all, it's a disappointment you don't learn about until you debox. So you can't return it. I'd recommend hearing the song in the store before you buy it online. Decide for yourself in advance if it will drive you crazy hearing your daughter playing it over and over.

Got this doll for my four-year old's birthday. She loves the song and flashing lights. Seems to be holding up well so far. The song isn't really that annoying, but I do wish it had a volume switch to turn it down.

This Barbie is absolutely cute. My 5 year old absolutely loves it, She sits with it for hours playing concert with the rest of her toys. The barbie doesn't come with a stand but since my daughter is 5 and has no where to go, she takes her time to make the Barbie grab the microphone just right to give her support and make her stand, and she does. The skirt doesn't go all the way around, but we just don't care, the Barbie is cute and has fun colors and for the sale price it's worth it.
